Year 4 braved the elements today and headed to East Head for a fantastic day learning about tides, erosion and longshore drift.
Accompanied by members of the Chichester Conservancy, Year 4 spent a lovely day at East Head. We made sandcastles to show tides and erosion, and pretented we were waves, to learn about longshore drift. Finally, we went for a lovely walk through the sand dunes and looked for shells on the beach.
Our children are going to sleep well tonight!
